SETTING:

A futuristic, catastrophic, hieroglyphic, post-apocalyptic Wild West where horses are motorcycles.  

        Last Steps Of A Fallen Soldier

A distant planet. The impact of a meteor has altered the planet, leading to drastic climate change and mass emigration. The desolate planet is scattered with torn nations and clans of cowboys, Indians, and androids.

A gunshot. A half white half red man is shot down in the desert.

And our story ends.

 

And our story begins...

         Gunshow

We meet our hero instigating a local bar brawl. He kills the man he intended to, and kick-starts the dead man’s horse. Boomerang. 

         Dulcinea - Ajax, Cowboy, and Cochise

A simple daydream. A vigilant conviction. 

         These Boots Have Spurs - 75 in a Kansas Statue

Our hero, dazed, notices he is being chased. The price on his head has attracted a cavalcade of bounty hunters. His stolen steed is shot down out of the sky and everything goes black. 

Curtain Close. 

         Indian Revival

His body is found and brought to sacred grounds. A ritual is being held over our dead hero’s body. Psychedelic powders, and smokes are used to resurrect him….. 

Andy Griffith opens his eyes for what feels like the first time. 

Communication with the spirit world. 

         Medicine and Spirits

The tribe gathers around a fire to hear the chief speak. He reads the prophecy of a lone man who finds redemption in conquering a mechanical giant. Andy Griffith sits with them as one of them. 

         White Man Runs Red

A rival tribe swarms the site. Blood soaks the soil.  

Andy Griffith finds himself standing over the bodies of his enemies.

         Dead Man

Our Hero finds truth in the Chief’s story as he begins to absorb the souls of the many men he just killed.

Smoke fills his lungs and he drifts off to a depth beyond sleep……
